Data Deletion Policy

Data Deletion Agreement

 

This Data Deletion Agreement is entered into between Divine Registry and all Subscribers/Members, collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

 

Deletion Obligation

 

Upon termination of the collaboration or upon request by the Data Controller, the Data Processor agrees to delete or return all personal data processed on behalf of the Data Controller, unless retention is required by law.

 

Scope of Deletion

 

The deletion obligation extends to all personal data, including but not limited to viewer information, collaboration details, and any other data shared during the course of the collaboration. This includes copies held by any subcontractors.

 

Deletion Method

 

Data shall be erased using methods that render the data unreadable, indecipherable, and unrecoverable.

 

Timeframe

 

The Data Processor shall complete the deletion process within 90 days of the termination of the collaboration or upon receiving a deletion request from the Data Controller.

 

Certification

 

The Data Processor shall provide written certification to the Data Controller confirming that all specified data has been deleted as per this Agreement.

 

Exceptions

 

Data required for legal compliance or data that has been anonymized for analytical purposes may be retained, provided it cannot be used to identify individuals.

 

Individual Deletion Requests

 

The Data Processor shall assist the Data Controller in fulfilling any data subject’s request for data deletion under applicable data protection laws.

 

Backup Data

 

Data stored in backup systems shall be deleted in accordance with the regular backup deletion cycle, not to exceed 90 days from the date of the deletion request.


Communication

 

The Parties agree to maintain open communication regarding the status of deletion requests and any challenges encountered during the process.

 

Verification

 

The Data Controller reserves the right to verify the complete and secure deletion of data through mutually agreed-upon means.

 

Documentation

 

Both Parties shall maintain records of deletion requests and actions taken to comply with this Agreement and relevant data protection regulations.

 

Governing Law

 

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of The United States.
